The Accreditation process is not to state whether the images are salable to the general public, but to establish what is generally agreed by your peers to be above average delivery for a professional photographer today.
You can achieve Accreditation by submitting 10 samples your photography in a specific category. By becoming Accredited, you have demonstrated an above average level of professional ability to your peers in the Professional Photographers of Canada. In assessing Accreditation submissions, the judges will consider the following criteria: Impact, Creativity, Style, Composition, Presentation, Color Balance, Centre of Interest, Lighting, Subject Matter, Technique and Story Telling.
An accreditation is required in order to move out of the Observer category and into the Active/Accredited membership category.
A minimum of one accreditation is required to qualify for a Craftsman Award and two accreditations are needed for a Masters Award.

The national average of acceptance of a first-time Accreditation submission is about 50-60%. BC members have the option of completing a Free Pre Selection Review and rise the success rate to near 100%. Check out the link below
